Rehabilitation under KOS
This is a comprehensive program for people who have had a heart attack (KOS), including diagnosis, therapy, rehabilitation, and medical care. It is recommended within 12 months of the heart attack.
The stay is fully reimbursed by the National Health Fund (NFZ) and includes:
stay: stationary cardiac rehabilitation ward in Augustów (ul. M. Konopnickiej 11, 16-300 Augustów)
full-day meals (according to medical diet)
health assessment (medical visits)
24-hour medical and nursing care
treatment with movement, i.e. kinesitherapy according to cardiac rehabilitation models
other physiotherapeutic procedures as indicated
health education
dietary consultations
psychological consultations
monitoring rehabilitation progress
The rehabilitation model and exercise load are individually selected based on exercise tests.
Rehabilitation must be included in the patient's treatment plan by the coordinating center/entity.
